Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 26, 2026

1. Who We Are

TorahScheduler is operated by Clockwork WP, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“Clockwork WP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the TorahScheduler platform available at torahscheduler.com (“Service”).

Questions? Contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you set a password, a securely hashed version of it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We store these to authenticate you and to send service-related notices.

Congregation data

You provide your congregation’s name, subdomain, and configuration preferences. This information is stored to operate the Service on your behalf.

Reader data

You may enter names, email addresses, and phone numbers for individual Torah readers in your congregation. This data is provided by you (the congregation administrator) and is stored on your behalf. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required from those individuals before entering their information into the Service.

Payment information

Paid plan payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive from Stripe your subscription status, a customer ID, and billing email for account management purposes.

Usage and log data

Our servers and third-party infrastructure providers automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps when you use the Service. This data is used for security, debugging, and service improvement. We also log email and SMS send events (success or failure) for audit and deduplication purposes.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • To authenticate users and manage accounts;
  • To send automated email reminders to Torah readers on behalf of congregation administrators;
  • To send automated SMS reminders to Torah readers on behalf of congregation administrators, where the congregation has enabled SMS and the reader’s phone number has been entered;
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • To respond to support requests;
  • To send service-related notices (e.g., billing, policy updates) — not marketing;
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use reader data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. SMS Messaging

When a congregation administrator enables SMS reminders and enters a reader’s phone number, the Service may send automated text messages to that number on behalf of the congregation. The congregation administrator is responsible for confirming that the reader has consented to receive such messages.

Message frequency varies by congregation configuration. Standard message and data rates may apply. To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact [email protected].

See our SMS Terms for full details.

5. Sharing and Third Parties

We share data with the following categories of third-party service providers, solely to operate the Service:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Telnyx — SMS delivery (when SMS is enabled by your congregation)
  • Stripe — payment processing

Each provider has its own privacy practices. We require providers to handle data only as necessary to perform their services.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clockwork WP, LLC, our users, or the public.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service.

  • Strictly necessary cookies — Authentication session cookies set by Supabase are required for you to log in and use the Service. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the torahscheduler.com marketing site (page views, traffic sources, session duration). Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data and may set cookies on your device. This data is not linked to your account or reader data. You can opt out via Google’s opt-out tool or by dismissing the cookie notice on our site.

By continuing to use the torahscheduler.com marketing site after dismissing the cookie notice, you consent to the use of analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and congregation data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g., billing records).

Email and SMS send logs are retained for up to 2 years for audit and deduplication purposes.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security in our database, and limited access controls. No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Congregation administrators may export or delete reader data directly from within the Service at any time.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, consistent with our Terms of Service.
